To date, users have been able to give voice commands Android devices and Android Wear, but Google has recently added the ability for users of a Chromebook. To use this option you should just tell the computer 'Ok Google and voice commands are activated automatically.

Voice commands can be used to search for information, find locations, check the weather, etc. Normally Chromebook must be active to listen to your commands. This option has been described for the first time by a Google employee, Francois Beaufort Google+.

Voice Command is currently only available in Chrome Dev channel and users must activate a flag in the Chrome menu to access it. Beaufort has not disclosed when it will be available passively, but I thought it would not be long before all those who have a Chromebook to use this option.
