Google Vs Bing
When you look for something on the internet, where do you turn? My guess is either Google or it can be Bing.
Now a days Bing also become more popular. Any one can using these search engines to turns your questions into quality search results.

There are thousands of search engines in market and each have own parameters. If we take Google that is most popular search engine and i guess more than 60% users uses Google for searching information on the net and rest users go with Bing and Yahoo etc. you can say search engine is also known as Google. Generally people knows Google as a search engine.

Google periodically changes its search algorithm tries to find the right information so that you can and Bing also changes but Google became very smart in terms of display relevant information. Here i am going to explain the basic difference between them.

What Search Engines Generally Prefer:-

Following these guidelines will help to Search Engine find, index, and rank your site:-
  • Make web pages primarily for users, not for search engines
  • Don't deceive your users
  • Think about what makes your website unique, valuable, or engaging. Make your website stand out from others in your field.
  • Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you'd feel comfortable explaining what you've done to a website that competes with you.
  • Make a site with a clear hierarchy and text links. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.
  • Offer a site map to your users with links that point to the important parts of your site. If the site map has an extremely large number of links, you may want to break the site map into multiple pages.
  • Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number.
  • Create a useful, information-rich site, and write pages that clearly and accurately describe your content.
  • Think about the words users would type to find your pages, and make sure that your site actually includes those words within it.
  • Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. The search engine's crawler doesn't recognize text contained in images. If you must use images for textual content, consider using the "ALT" attribute to include a few words of descriptive text.
  • Make sure that your TITLE elements and ALT attributes are descriptive and accurate.
  • Check for broken links and correct HTML.
  • If you decide to use dynamic pages (i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), be aware that not every search engine spider crawls dynamic pages as well as static pages. It helps to keep the parameters short and the number of them few.

Avoid the following techniques:-
  • Automatically generated content
  • Participating in link schemes
  • Cloaking
  • Sneaky redirects
  • Hidden text or links
  • Doorway pages
  • Scraped content
  • Participating in affiliate programs without adding sufficient value
  • Loading pages with irrelevant keywords
  • Sending automated queries to Google

Engage in good practices like the following:-
  • Monitoring your site for hacking and removing hacked content as soon as it appears
  • Preventing and removing user generated spam on your site

Back Links:- Previously Google given the keyword ranking only on the no. of back links or you can say more links - high ranking for thats we generally used the following ways for back link creation like:- Directory Submissions, Social Bookmarking, Three way linking, Forum Posting, Blog Comments, Classifieds Postings, Articles posting etc. Now a days Google does not consider no. of links even checks the quality of links means how the link is related with website and user requirements.

Website should have sufficient information which user required and linking should be in natural way if we create links. After analyzing many site i observed Google gives priority to links as a brand name which usually linked in side wide or header and footer portion of website. If we take Bing, in many cases i saw since long time Bing gives ranking only on back links and relevancy. So in Bing, links and webpages relevancy is must for SERP.

Content Marketing:- This is become more popular after Google's Penguin and Panda periodically updates. In this strategy we promote webpage through content either it can be article, news, blog post etc. condition is same here also linking should be in natural way or we can link our brand name also. After publishing the content we require to further distribute it self, we can share these content url's to social networking sites also for referral traffic. Unique article marketing is a much better strategy and has a greater weighting for each activity you do. In case of Bing it is not necessary that how the web page liked is. Overall anchor text linking is required in terms of numbers.

Site Structure:- Now a days Google also look the structure of site and the number of index pages in website and how the webpages are linked with each other and the potential in website. On page SEO plays a very important role here in terms of keyword density in meta tags, headings, alt tags etc.

Do not involve with 'Link Farms'. These sites exist to provide thousands of links with not a huge amount of effort. Google and the other search engines caught onto this strategy early on and the alterations to their algorithms has meant your site may never recover from such an action. A high amount of link sharing. Search engines do not favor 'like-for-like' link sharing, it is easily found and can harm your ranking.
